From King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia’s national flag ship SAS has launched direct flights to Johannesburg Airport, South Africa, in cooperation with the Air Connectivity Program.
In the presence of Mr. Moegammad Gabriels, the Republic of South Africa’s Consul General, Ms. Musaed Almusad, AVP of International Regions Income in Saudia, Mrs. Rashed Alshammari, Vice President of Commercial at ACP, and representatives from aircraft government officials, a ceremony was held at the AlFursan International Lounge to mark the opening. On the annual flight, passengers were given commemorative gifts to indicate this important occasion.
Saudi Arabia scheduled four weekly flights to and from Jeddah’s King Abdulaziz International Airport ( SV0449 ) and flights back to Johannesburg. These planes are scheduled to take off on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays as well as Saturdays. The aircraft is a B787- 9 Aircraft with 274 economy-class chairs and 24 enterprise class seating. In line with the firm’s commitment to providing excellent aircraft services to improve the overall travel experience, it is distinguished by its roomy seating and cutting-edge in-flight entertainment systems tailored to various guest preferences.
